Kevin Durant never warmed up to Durantula.

The "Slim Reaper" moniker didn't do much for him either.

In fact, none of the proposed nicknames over the past few years outside of "KD" have resonated with No. 35, but he offered a suggestion of his own after the All-Star game in an interview with ESPN's Bill Simmons.

"You can call me ‘The Servant,'" Durant said.

When Simmons inquired as to why he landed on The Servant, Durant had this to say:

"I like to serve everybody: my teammates, ushers at the game, the fans. Just serve everybody."

While that nickname might accurately represent Durant's approach as a teammate and a figure in the community, it seems to go against the killer instinct he carries nightly on the court.

Durant leads the league in scoring with 31.5 points per game and has scored 40 points or more on eight occasions this season alone. The Slim Reaper seems to make more sense, seeing as how he quietly kills his opponents night-in and night-out.

But, as we've all seen, KD isn't a "me first" guy and The Servant speaks to his humility. He's also serving Thunder opponents losses quite regularly.

What do you think about Durant's potential nickname?
