The long-awaited return of Russell Westbrook appears to be right on schedule, according to a report released by Yahoo Sports on Sunday.

Yahoo's Marc Spears is reporting, according to sources in the Thunder organization, that Westbrook will be re-evaluated on Tuesday and should be in Oklahoma City's lineup for its first game after the All-Star break on Thursday.

That game just so happens to be against two-time defending champion Miami.

This timetable is in keeping with what the organization put out following Westbrook's surgery on Dec. 27 when General Manager Sam Presti said the electric point guard would return after the All-Star break.

Westbrook has missed 27-consecutive game since injuring his knee in a Christmas Day victory against New York in which No. 0 has a triple-double. He also missed the first three games of the regular season.

Westbrook is averaging 21.3 points, seven assists and six rebounds for OKC this season in 25 games.

Oklahoma City currently owns the best record in the NBA at 43-12. The Thunder is four games up on second place San Antonio in the Western Conference standings.
