Police: Norman Man Killed By Neighbor Saturday Night

A Norman man was shot and killed after an altercation with his neighbor, while his wife and two children were in the house, according to police.

Authorities responded to a disturbance call in the 1800 block of Cherry Stone St. just after 10:30 p.m. Saturday. By the time Norman police had arrived at the scene, police say the neighbor had shot the victim multiple times.

The victim, later identified as 22-year-old Aaron McCray Jr., was transported to Norman Regional Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The neighbor, 22-year-old Ethan Spruill, was taken into custody. The Office of the State Medical Examiner is assisting Norman police with investigation.
