OKLAHOMA CITY -

Many people are signed up for those text alerts your bank sends you every time you make a big purchase. But for one armed robbery victim, that text actually led police to the alleged robbers.

On Monday, February 10 around 3:30 p.m. officers were called to "All About Taxes," located at 1901 N. Classen Boulevard in Oklahoma City after someone reported an armed robbery.

According to a police report, the pregnant owner of the business told officers an armed man came into the office, pointed a gun at everyone and demanded cash and cell phones. The suspect got away with a variety of personal items from at least four victims including wallets, cell phones, cash, social security cards, debit and credit cards.

As police were talking with the victims, one of them said he just received a text on his phone alerting him that a purchase was just made on his stolen card.

Based on that text, investigators were led to The Buckle, a clothing store located within Penn Square Mall. The suspect, identified as 20-year-old William Lee and two others, Samantha Cox, 19, and Yeslin Gonzales, 20, were taken into custody.

Police found the three all had Buckle shopping bags on them, with hundreds of dollars of clothing inside and receipts that show the stolen cards were used to purchase the items. The three also had some of the stolen items on them.

All three were arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County jail on charges of robbery with a firearm and concealing stolen property.
