3.0 Magnitude Earthquake Reported Near Langston

A 3.0 magnitude earthquake rattled residents near Langston, Oklahoma, early Tuesday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake was recorded at 2:49 a.m. Its epicenter was located ten miles north of Langston, 11 miles west of Stillwater, 17 miles north, northeast of Guthrie, and 45 miles north, northeast of Oklahoma City.

It was about two miles deep.

No injuries or damage were immediately reported following this earthquake.
