Parts of Interstate 35 near Sulphur, Oklahoma, are back open after emergency crews cleared the scene of an accident Monday morning.

According to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, at about 8 a.m., the southbound lanes of I-35 were closed near Sulphur, at mile marker 57, due to an accident.

Details of the wreck are unclear at this time.

Drivers were advised to use SH-29/Wynnewood to US-77 to SH-7 and back to I-35 as an alternate route.

Crews have cleared the scene of the accident and reopened the southbound lanes of I-35 at about 10:15 a.m. Monday.
