News 9 Chief Meteorologist David Payne provided the following winter weather update:
Still looks like the freezing fog and freezing drizzle will continue tonight and tomorrow. Some slick roads possible along with bridges and overpasses.
Our next storm is a little murky. The data (that agrees) brings an area of snow from northern/northwest Oklahoma through central Oklahoma. Could begin as early as late tomorrow for Oklahoma City, but the most likely time frame is tomorrow evening and tomorrow night.
There should be a two or three county-wide band of snow from the northwest to southeast. Oklahoma City might be right in the middle of it or at least close. 1"-3" seems reachable under this band.
A tough forecast this time on exactly where and how much. More to come. Trackers will be ready either way. This might be the last event for a while. 60s and maybe 70s by this weekend. Then the pattern turns a little boring.
