Highs today will finally climb up above freezing into the mid and upper 30s. Winds will stay light out of the south at 5 to 15 mph. This will help improve roadways, especially in the south and east where fresh snow fell yesterday.

Tonight more fog will be possible, and with temperatures dropping into the upper teens and 20s, light freezing fog will be possible.

Sunday another strong cold front arrives giving us north winds at 15 to 25 mph, colder temperatures, and a chance for a light winter mix. Along and north of I-40 there will be a slight chance for light freezing rain, a little sleet, and possibly a little snow. This may cause slick spots on the roadways by late in the day, but little to no accumulation is expected.

Monday, more cold air moves in as our next storm approaches. We will see a change over to snow by early Monday with the highest chances and totals in northeastern Oklahoma. Stay tuned as the exact timing and intensity of this storm is still being pinned down. Current data has this snow ending by early Tuesday and much warmer temperatures on the way by the end of next week.
