CANADIAN COUNTY, Oklahoma -

The Canadian County Sheriff's Department remembers one of its own today.

Sergeant Gary Garrison died from heart failure while he was on duty Saturday.

His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 5 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church located at 208 S. Evans Ave in El Reno.

Sergeant Garrison had been with Canadian County for 17 years and was also a U.S. Army veteran.
