OKLAHOMA CITY -

Firefighters have put out two house fires Monday morning in southwest Oklahoma City.

According to the fire department, crews responded to the first fire just before 6 a.m. at a house, located on S.W. 37th between Blackwelder and McKinley.

Firefighters were able to put out the flames. No injuries were reported.

Just after 7 a.m.,  crews responded to another fire at a house on S.W. 20th Street and S. Villa Avenue. They were able to extinguish the fire quickly.

Fire officials say the house was vacant. They believe some transients may have started the fire in the fireplace.

No one was injured.

The cause of the fires are still under investigation.
