Andrea Riley, one of the most decorated players in the history of Oklahoma State's women's basketball program, will have her jersey retired on Feb. 16 during halftime of the Cowgirls' contest against Oklahoma.

During her career, Riley received All-America honors on two occasions and was named a first-team All-Big 12 pick three times. In 2010, she received the Nancy Lieberman Award, which is given annually to the nation's top point guard.

The Dallas, Texas native finished her career as the Big 12's all-time leading scorer with 2,835 points, which ranks 17th all time in NCAA history.

Additionally, she dished out 707 assists during her four seasons. Her total currently ranks ninth among league players and stood as the OSU record until senior Tiffany Bias surpassed the number this past week.

Her senior campaign resulted in one of the most prolific offensive outputs in women's basketball history. Riley scored 909 points, which stands as the 12th-best total in NCAA history. Her 26.7 points per game ranked second nationally that season and she finished the year ranked seventh in the country with her 6.5 assists per game. Riley helped OSU to a 24-11 record and a run to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

While directing OSU to a second-round appearance in the WNIT as a junior, she ranked fifth nationally with her 23.0 points per game and finished 10th nationally at 6.0 assists per game.

Her sophomore campaign saw the Cowgirls match the school record with 27 victories and reach the NCAA Sweet 16 for the second time in program history. She led the Big 12 in scoring at 23.1 points per game en route to becoming the first player to lead the league in scoring three consecutive seasons.

As a freshman, Riley was the catalyst behind the Cowgirls capping the nation's largest turnaround with a 20-11 mark and the program's first NCAA Tournament berth in 11 seasons. Following the season, she became the first Cowgirl to be named Big 12 Freshman of the Year.

Following her Cowgirl career, Riley was selected to participate as a member of USA Basketball's Select Team before becoming the program's first-ever WNBA draft pick. She was taken in the first round with the No. 8 overall selection by the Los Angeles Sparks.

Riley will become the fourth player in program history to have her jersey retired, joining Liz Brown, Stacy Coffey and Clinette Jordan. All three will be on hand for the contest and will be recognized as well.
