Logan County Sheriff's deputies arrested two men early Wednesday morning who are accused of burglarizing several convenience stores across the county.

Deputies arrested 25-year-old Joshua Dallas McIntire, and 22-year-old David William Coleman.

According to the Sheriff's Office, at about 1:48 a.m., deputies received an alarm call at the Petty's gas station, located at 12001 S. Douglas Blvd. When they arrived at the scene, they found out that the store had been burglarized.

Authorities say the front door lock had been stripped out, and this method of entry is consistent with numerous other burglaries that happened in the area over the past several months.

The owner of the gas station provided deputies with a surveillance video of the suspects and their vehicle.

According to the Sheriff's Office, around the same time that alarm call came in, several other deputies responded to other convenience stores in the area.

At about 2 a.m., a Patrol Sergeant responded to the convenience store located at Seward and Sooner. The Sergeant located a small light colored vehicle that matched the descriptions from previous burglaries. He detained two men in the vehicle, later identified as McIntire and Coleman.

Authorities say the two matched the description of the burglars who had just left gas station on Douglas Blvd.

After viewing the gas station surveillance video, deputies were able to positively identify the two suspects by clothing and distinctive gloves and bandanas that were worn during the burglary.

Authorities say the investigation into the burglaries is on-going. The two suspects are a strong match to prior video surveillance, and the shoes one of the suspect was wearing at the time of the arrest match those seen in previous surveillance videos.

McIntire and Coleman are facing several charges, including burglary, possession of burglary tools, possession of an offensive weapon while in the commission of a felony, and conspiracy to commit a felony.
