We made it out of last week's cold blast and into a beautiful weekend! Highs temperatures today will rise into the upper 50s and lower 60s across the state with light north winds. Sunday will be even nicer as highs rise into the mid and upper 60s.

But, as is usually the case here in Oklahoma, the bottom completely falls back out late Sunday night. An arctic cold front arrives in northern Oklahoma with bitter cold temperatures and very strong north winds. Lows Monday morning will drop into the 20s, however, our highs Monday afternoon will also stay in the 20s with blustery north winds.

By Tuesday morning, lows will drop into the teens with the possibility of some very light flurries in western Oklahoma and possibly in central Oklahoma. With our limited moisture, this will not amount to much at all. No travel problems or even any accumulation is expected. Most everyone will stay dry and cold.

A large-scale pattern change looks to be on the way late next week into the first week of February. More on that as it develops! Stay with News 9 for the latest.
