The NBA announced its All-Star starters for each conference on Thursday, and the Thunder's Kevin Durant led the way in the West.  Durant led the conference in fan votes with 1,396,294 and will represent Oklahoma City in the game on February 16.

This will be Durant's fifth consecutive All-Star game appearance and his fourth straight start. He was named All-Star Game MVP two seasons ago, scoring 36 points to lead the Western Conference to a 152-149 victory.

Durant is a four-time All-NBA first-team selection and three-time NBA scoring champion. The Olympic Gold-Medalist is currently averaging 31 points per game as he has led the Russell Westbrook-less Thunder to a 33-10 record and the No. 1 spot in the Western Conference.

Durant took to Twitter to thank the fans for their support.

"@KDTrey5: Thank you!! I appreciate all the fans for voting me into the All Star game," Durant tweeted.

The rest of the All-Star team's selections will be voted on by the league's coaches and revealed at a later date.
