The man who was thought to be a "police impersonator" in Logan County actually was not.

The Logan County Sheriff's Office issued an alert for a possible deputy impersonator late Wednesday after someone in beige a Chrysler 300 reportedly pulled two people over near Interstate 35, one near Waterloo and one near Covell.

It turns out the vehicle in question is assigned to a District Attorney Investigator for the District 8 Task Force.

The sheriff's officer wants to remind everyone again that all Logan County patrol deputies will be operating marked patrol vehicles and wearing black law enforcement uniforms.
