The Home and Garden Show is in town. And if our ice storms damaged your trees, you will be able to find some helpful tips at the show to restore those trees.
The Home and Garden Show will showcase everything Home and Garden. So we knew this would be a great place to learn what we can do for our ice damaged trees.
TLC Nursery is just one of the countless vendors here. They say it's a good idea to survey your trees for damage.
"If it's severe damage, you may want to hire an arborist to do some trimming for you. And they can also do pruning. And if they have some wood that's dead, they'll take that out as well," said Shaun Doering with TLC Nursery.
Some trees are good for our winters, including trees that lose their leaves early in the season, and some maples are great.
Oaks like Red Oaks and slow growing trees tend to be stronger.
