How To Prevent The Flu During Flu Season

Flu season is in full force with the influenza virus widespread in 47 states.

People are washing their hands more but what else can you do to fight off the flu bug.

We talked with flu experts who told us what the most important thing to do is when trying to prevent getting the flu.

"Quite simply, the flu vaccine is the most important thing that you can do to protect yourself against influenza and its complications," said CDC Medical Officer Dr. Michael Jhung.
