Norman Police Seek Suspect In Hotel Armed Robbery

NORMAN, Oklahoma -

Norman police are looking for an armed robbery suspect.

According to investigators, the man robbed the Comfort Inn and Suites located at 840 Copperfield Drive in Norman on Friday, December 13 just after 1 a.m.

Police say the suspect entered the hotel armed with a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded money. He then left with an undetermined amount of money and fled in a red Ford Mustang with a tan convertible top.

Police describe the suspect as a black man, approximately 27 years old; approximately 5'11" and 180 pounds with a slender body build and light facial hair. He was wearing a white hoodie with a Fila emblem on the front, a beanie and dark pants. Police released a sketch of the suspect Monday morning.

Investigators believe the suspect is wanted in a similar robbery of the Comfort Inn Hotel in Ardmore, which occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 12.
