OKLAHOMA CITY -

Homicide crews are investigating after a body was discovered in a car, submerged in Lake Stanley Draper, Sunday evening.

A viewer sent in a video of Oklahoma City Police removing the car from the lake to News9.com.

News 9 is told police were first called to the scene around 10 a.m. Sunday, but didn't find anything suspicious. It wasn't until crews were called back out around 3 p.m. that the dive team took a closer look.

"It's suspicious because there's a dead body in the lake inside of a vehicle," said OKC Police Lt. Rod Strecker.

Officials have not been able to identify the body nor have they determined a cause of death. No other information has been released at this time.
