A Pennsylvania company which has four plants in the Tulsa area announced Monday it has purchased Hammco Corporation of Owasso.

Hammco is a provider of process coolers for the natural gas and petrochemical processing industries.  Its plant is located at 6901 North 115th East Avenue.

In a news release, Harsco Industrial Air-X-Changers says the Owasso plant and the Port of Catoosa facilities will be operated separately.

"For more than four decades, Hammco has demonstrated a commitment to quality, service and value that perfectly matches the core values on which Harsco Industrial Air-X-Changers has built its business. Hammco's track record, product lines, expertise, experience and culture made it an ideal fit for AXC, and will allow us to offer an even greater range of cooling solutions to current and future customers. In this, our 60th year of service to the natural gas industry, we warmly welcome our Hammco colleagues to the Harsco family and look forward to their contributions to our continuing growth," said Harsco Air-X-Changers vice president Eric Clower.
