Quik Trip headquarters has plans to add up to 250 new jobs.

The company has broken ground on an 80,000 square foot expansion to its corporate offices in east Tulsa.

A Quik Trip spokesperson told News On 6 the jobs will be in management and store development. He also says the jobs won't be added all at once, but as the company needs to expand its corporate office.

Some of the new hires will handle the increased employee paperwork from the federal health care overhaul.

Quik Trip says current employees will have first dibs on the new jobs, before they're posted to the public.

The expansion should be finished by spring of next year.
