OKLAHOMA CITY -

UPDATE: Oklahoma City Police have canceled an Amber Alert, saying a child who was abducted after being left in a running car has been found safe and unharmed.

Police issued an Amber Alert Wednesday morning for 3-year-old girl Bailey Joe Shreeves. Investigators say she was taken by Aimee Dawn Webb.

Police say Bailey was left sitting in a running car last night, which was parked in front of a house in northwest Oklahoma City. Police say someone jumped into the car and stole it, with little Bailey still inside.

Police say Wednesday morning, Aimee Webb showed up at a house in the 2700 block of N. Virginia in Oklahoma City and asked to come inside.

The homeowner recognized the child and the car from the Amber Alert on the news. The homeowner let the suspect in the house and then called police. Police then took Webb into custody.

Bailey is now in protective custody.

Police now say Webb's sister was not involved.
