FBI Seeks Suspects In Two OKC Bank Robberies

FBI agents are looking for the suspects responsible for two separate Oklahoma City bank robberies Monday afternoon.

According to the FBI, at about 4:45 p.m., a man walked into the MidFirst Bank, located at 7403 S. Pennsylvania, and approached the teller counter. The suspect gave the teller a note demanding money and stated he had a gun. Although no weapon was seen, the suspect kept his hand in his pocket during the robbery.

The teller placed an undisclosed amount of money in a plastic shopping bag. The suspect then ran away from the scene with the money. He is believed to have left the bank as a passenger in a gold colored vehicle driven by an unknown accomplice.

The FBI released the following description of the suspect:

Black male, mid 20's, 5'8", medium build, brown mustache, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a red Polo emblem, black baggie pants, and a black knit stocking cap with opening around face.

Just before 7 p.m. another Oklahoma City bank was robbed.

According to the FBI, a man approached the teller counter at the Arvest Bank branch inside a Wal-Mart, located at 7800 N.W. Expressway, and gave the teller a note.

The note demanded money and stated the suspect had a gun.

The teller complied and provided the suspect with an undisclosed amount of money. The man was last seen departing the Wal-Mart on foot. No weapon was seen and no one was hurt in the robbery.

FBI released the following description of this suspect :

Black male, mid 20's, 5'8" - 5'9", 140 - 160 lbs., slight goatee, glasses, wearing a dark blue hooded jacket with "Wright Career College" on the front, blue jeans and brown work boots.

Surveillance photos appear to show the suspect departing as a passenger in a silver or gold colored, 4-door sedan that is missing the left rear hubcap.

No one was injured in the robberies. The robberies are being investigated by the FBI and the Oklahoma City Police Department. Anyone with information should contact the FBI at (405)-290-7770 (24 hour number). Callers may remain anonymous.
