The Oklahoma men's basketball team may have already been done with school for the semester, but they still had to take care of some business against Texas A&M Saturday evening in Houston.

However, the Sooners played like they were already on Christmas break.

Despite turning the ball over 22 times, the Sooners moved their record to 11-1 this season with a 64-52 over the Aggies in a matchup of former Big 12 foes.

Oklahoma shot just 39.6 percent from the field for the game, but somehow, A&M made that look like lights-out shooting. The Aggies connected on just 26.1 percent of its shots, including an atrocious 2-of-24 from 3-point range.

It wasn't always pretty, but the Sooners did enough to get out of town with a win, thanks to some big contributions from the bench.

Senior Tyler Neal scored eight points and grabbed 10 rebounds while freshman Frank Booker came off the bench to drill three 3-pointers, two of those in the second half that gave Oklahoma a 54-35 lead with 5:45 remaining in the game.

Jordan Woodard led the Sooners with 20 points, while Ryan Spangler added 12 rebounds.

Jordan Green led the Aggies with 10 points while Jamal Jones and Fabyon Harris each had nine points.

The first half was a terrible display of basketball from both teams. The Aggies couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat, shooting 14.7 percent from the field. Meanwhile, the Sooners couldn't take advantage of the offensive struggles, turning the ball over 16 times in the first 20 minutes.

The Sooners will be back in action after Christmas on Dec. 30 when they host Louisiana Tech at Lloyd Noble Center.
