Fire Breaks Out As Police Investigate Shooting In SW OKC Apartment Complex

As police investigated a double shooting at a southwest Oklahoma City apartment complex Tuesday night, a fire broke out in a nearby building.

According to Oklahoma City police, officers responded to the shooting at about 10:30 p.m. at 6200 S. Douglas Avenue.

Two people were shot and transported to the hospital in unknown conditions.

Police say they do not have a suspect at this time, and have not released any suspect information. A car was seen leaving the area following the shooting.

As officers investigated the shooting, a unit at the same apartment complex caught on fire. The fire was quickly put out and no one was hurt. It's not known what started the fire.

The shooting and the fire are not related.
