A family that lived through the nightmare of the tornado on May 20 is experiencing some more headaches.

Last month, News 9 told you about a tornado victim unable to finish building his home because of an issue with the gas company. Now, he's got another problem.

Steven Housley says his home is almost done, he just needs to put the counter tops, floors in and paint. He says he's been calling his electric company for several weeks, but can't get a clear answer when he'll have power.

"Nothing's been done inside my house for six weeks because of the utility companies," Housley said.

Housley says he's furious that he can't get a response from his electric company, OG&E. He says all he needs is a power line to his newly rebuilt home, but feels like he's being fed excuses.

"They said they couldn't work because the ground was too wet, but I saw crews burying electric lines to other houses out here."

Housley said a crew came by and said his concrete sidewalk was in the way, so he removed it. Then he said a crew told him his shed was blocking.

"It's another ditch that you have to lay a line in, and it's not that hard. They can do it in an hour. Two hours maybe," said Housley. "Well we're behind, and we don't have enough people and it's just, it's ridiculous. They have no concept of what customer service is. If there was another company I could go with, I would go with them."

Housley has been out of a home since the May 20 tornado, and says all he and his wife want for Christmas is to spend it in their new home.

"The real bad part about is, you know, we've missed one holiday already and we're getting to miss another one. My wife's birthday is actually tomorrow, and she doesn't have a house to spend it in."

News 9 spoke with an OG&E representative, who says they're looking into this case and believe crews are just running a little behind.
