NORMAN, Oklahoma -

The University of Oklahoma men's basketball program will participate in the 2014 Battle 4 Atlantis tournament in the Bahamas during Thanksgiving week, event organizers announced Tuesday. The eight-team field will also include Butler, Florida, Georgetown, North Carolina, UAB, UCLA and Wisconsin.

The Battle 4 Atlantis will be played Nov. 26-28 at Imperial Arena inside the resort Atlantis, Paradise Island. The eight teams have combined for 195 NCAA Tournament appearances, 53 Final Four appearances and 20 national championships.

The tournament also announced that ESPN has signed a three-year agreement as a TV partner for the event, alongside three-year veteran partner AXS TV. The 2014 Battle 4 Atlantis games will be aired live on both networks from Atlantis' Imperial Arena.

Past Battle 4 Atlantis winners were Harvard in 2011, Duke in 2012 and Villanova last week.
