IRVING, Texas - Oklahoma State's Brittney Martin has been named the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Player of the Week it was announced on Monday.

The honor marks the sixth time Martin has received a weekly award from the league office after earning freshman of the week plaudits five times last season.

In OSU's two victories last week, the Syracuse, Utah native averaged 23.5 points and 11.0 rebounds while shooting 71 percent from the floor.

Despite playing just 25 minutes against UMass Lowell, Martin logged her second consecutive double-double with a career-high 31 points and a game-best 13 rebounds. She was 15 of 18 from the floor to go with three assists, three steals and one block.

Martin finished with 16 points and nine rebounds against North Texas on Sunday. Additionally, she had a game-high four steals and four assists along with a block.
