Police: Shooting Victim Shows Up At Norman Restaurant For Help

Authorities are searching for a gunman Tuesday night after a shooting victim stumbled to a Norman restaurant for help.

Just after 7:30 p.m. officers were called to the Raising Cane's, located at 3716 W. Main Street.

According to police, a man was shot at the Cedar Lake Apartments, about six blocks west of the Raising Cane's, and then drove himself to the restaurant for help.

Police say the victim's girlfriend was in the passenger seat of the SUV. There was a bullet hole in the driver's side window.

The victim has been transported to the OU Medical Center in good condition. Police have not identified the victim at this time.

Officers did detain one person at the scene for questioning. That person was not arrested.
