Oklahoma State freshman Stevie Clark has been suspended for the week for disciplinary reasons, according to the News on 6's John Holcomb. Clark will miss Monday night's game against South Florida and the entire Old Spice Classic which, for the Cowboys, begins on Thanksgiving Thursday against Purdue and continues Friday against either Butler or Washington State.

Clark has appeared in all four contests and leads the team in assists with 20.

The point guard backs up All-American Marcus Smart but has been playing a high volume of minutes off the Cowboy bench, playing 18.5 minutes and scoring 9.8 points per game as well.

Clark (@YungCowboy5) cryptically tweeted "Giving it up wasn't an option but walking away from it all gone make me better. Gotta find another alternative." That tweet was followed up with, "Packed and ready to go its gone be a long trip."

It has not been determined if Clark will rejoin the Cowboys for their Thanksgiving day game against Purdue and the following Old Spice Classic tournament opponents (Butler-Washington State).

No. 5 OSU and USF will tip at 6:00 p.m. tonight. The game will be televised on ESPN News.
