Oklahoma State quarterback Clint Chelf was honored as the national player of the week by both the Walter Camp Football Foundation and by Athlon Sports, it was announced on Sunday.

Chelf excelled in leading the Cowboys to a 49-17 victory against No. 3 Baylor.

He completed 19-of-25 passes for a career-high 370 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. His QBR of 97.8 was the second-highest of any quarterback in the nation last week and he started off the contest by completing his first 12 passes.

Entering the contest, Baylor allowed an average of only 17.4 points per game and 190.1 passing yards per game, but Chelf and the Cowboys shredded the Bears like nobody else has been able to en route to picking up perhaps the nation's best win this season.
