The wreckage from a fatal crash that happened on November 16 was just discovered Wednesday morning.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 51-year-old Darla Frank of Perry was driving her Nissan Rouge westbound on State Highway 51, about five miles west of Stillwater. For some reason, her car swerved off the roadway, struck a concrete retainer wall, and fell 14 feet into a creek bed.

Frank died at the scene. Although the crash happened sometime after 3:30 p.m. on November 16, the wreckage and Frank's body weren't discovered until the morning of November 20.

It's not known yet what caused the crash.
