A burglar kicked in the door of a southwest Oklahoma City home, only to be chased off by the homeowner. But the crook didn't realize his criminal act was caught on camera.
On November 15 around 8:30 a.m., a man was in his bedroom when he heard someone kick in the front door of his house. He walked into the living room and saw a man unplugging some electronics.
The homeowner said the burglar saw him, mumbled "sorry," and ran out of the house. The homeowner followed him and saw the suspect drive away in a blue, 1990s-model, four-door Honda.
Although the burglar fled before police arrived, investigators were able to get a good look at him. The homeowner had a surveillance camera set up in his living room. The entire incident was recorded.
The suspect is a Hispanic man with a buzz haircut. He was wearing a black hooded jacket, blue shorts with a thick white stripe down the side, and orange shoes.
Anyone with information about the burglary should call the Oklahoma City Police Department.
