Norman Police Chase Ends In Arrest Of Suspect

One man is behind bars after leading Norman police officers on a short chase into Moore.

Officers were called out to investigate some suspicious activity near Main Street and I-35. They started talking to a man in his car, but then he took off.

The chase went up 1-35, but police eventually caught the suspect, later identified as Brian Schumate, in Moore.

Schumate was booked into jail on several charges, including driving with a suspended license, attempting to elude, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
