OKLAHOMA CITY -

A driver who may have been drunk led Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers on a chase that only ended when he crashed into a fence early Friday morning.

Around 2 a.m., an OHP trooper spotted a truck swerving near S.W. 59th Street and Pennsylvania. The trooper tried to pull over the driver, but the driver refused to stop.

After a few minutes, the driver sped around a corner and lost control. The truck slammed into a fence at S.W. 49th Street and Agnew.

Troopers arrested the man, and discovered he was driving without a license or insurance.

A passenger in the truck recently underwent surgery, so as a precaution, he was taken to a hospital to be examined.
