Police have safely located an Oklahoma City teen who was reported missing while walking to school on the city's northwest side Thursday morning.

Police originally said 16-year-old Christian Ridgon was last seen walking from his home, located in the 6000 block of Paramount Dr., near N MacArthur Blvd., between W. Hefner and Britton roads.

According to police, Rigdon was spotted by an officer a few streets away from his home. They say when he saw the police officer, he ran. Police were able to track him down and return him safely to his home. They believe it may be a runaway case.

Ridgon reportedly told a friend that a black BMW followed him home from school on Wednesday.

No charges are expected to be filed.
