Police Arrest Suspect In Deadly Shooting In Midwest City
MIDWEST CITY, Oklahoma - Police have arrested a suspect in a deadly shooting in Midwest City.
Dianna Elaine Sanders, 49, was arrested Wednesday on charges of murder in the first degree.
Midwest City Police Chief Brandon Clabes says officers were called to a home located at of 930 N. Pine Street around 11:15 Wednesday morning after receiving a 911 call from Sanders. Clabes said Sanders made the call from a pay phone at a 7-11 two blocks away stating to send an ambulance to the home because she had just shot a man.
When police arrived they found the front door ajar, and when they went inside, they 54-year-old Stephen J. Dollarhide dead on the floor.
Police say Sanders lived with the victim and the shooting appears to be domestic related. Sanders is being held in the Midwest City Police Department jail until transfer to Oklahoma County jail.
