My 2 Cents: Thanksgiving Transitions Into Black Thursday?

I don't know how I missed it, when did Thanksgiving transition into Black Thursday?

Ran across this list of the 8 top retailers and the hours they'll be open on Thanksgiving day.. they don't call it Black Thursday.. can't do that to Thanksgiving.. but that's what they're turning it in to... I'm just sayin'.

Maybe I'm wrong on this one.. or making too big of a deal out of it.

But one of my special memories of Thanksgiving is family coming to the house, and staying all day and into the evening.

When you have a passle of kids like I do, and lots of family close by, life moves at a pretty fast pace.

Thanksgiving is about the only day when we all just slow down and soak up each other's company.

I don't want any of my loved ones bailing out on precious family time so they can line up outside a store and save a few bucks on an off brand flat panel tv.

Heaven forbid we actually take a whole day to dwell on what we're thankful for and share it with the PEOPLE we're thankful for.

It's Thanksgiving not Black Thursday.. don't miss out on the blessing of enjoying ONE special day, one WHOLE day just to be grateful.
