Shawnee Tribal Police Officer Injured In Norman Crash

A police officer is recovering after a crash in Norman.

It happened at the intersection of Lindsey and McGhee just after 11 p.m. Monday.

Police say an officer from the Absentee Shawnee Tribal Police was in an unmarked SUV and driving through the intersection when another car T-boned him.

The crash left quite a bit of debris scattered all over the road. Thankfully, there were only minor injuries.

The names of those involved in the crash are not being released. Norman police are still investigating.
