A 3.4 magnitude earthquake rattled residents in the Enid area at 10 p.m. Monday.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the epicenter of this earthquake was located eight miles north, northeast of Enid, 43 miles west, southwest of Ponca City, and 74 miles north, northwest of Oklahoma City.

It was about three miles deep.

No injuries or damage were immediately reported following this earthquake. However, some News 9 viewers in Enid and Cherokee reported feeling this earthquake.
