Some Good Samaritans came to the rescue of a wandering horse Monday morning. The horse was running loose on southbound Highway 75 near Lewis Avenue at about 9 a.m.

Tulsa resident Maylin Harbin first saw the horse running through her neighborhood and was concerned about its safety.

"It was running through my neighborhood all morning. The dogs scared it off, and I had to go get a rope. It's not wild at all," said Maylin Harbin.

"He's way too big to be running around on the highway," said one of the other men, who identified himself only as a City of Tulsa security guard.

The Good Samaritans were trying to find the horse's owners and led it off from the side of the highway to a safer spot.
