Edmond North Football Player Diagnosed With Bacterial Infection

Edmond North High School is sanitizing its facilities after a football player was diagnosed with a contagious bacterial infection.

The principal says the field house will be closed through most of Friday. All equipment will be fogged, cleaned and disinfected to ensure health and safety.

A parent of the sick student notified school officials of the illness on Thursday. The school principal subsequently notified parents.
