Investigators are trying to figure out what sparked a fire Wednesday night at a northwest Oklahoma City manufacturing business.

The fire began around 10:30 p.m. near N.W. 10th Street and Rockwell. When firefighters reached the scene, smoke and flames were pouring from the building. Crews quickly realized they likely wouldn't be able to save the building, so they immediately went into defensive mode and fought the fire from outside. Their main objective was to make sure the flames didn't spread to nearby buildings.

Hazmat was called out because there were several barrels of waste oil inside, and firefighters were worried they would catch fire. Fortunately, they did not.

It took crews more than an hour to put out the fire. Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused it.
