Adoptive parents, Matt and Melanie Capobianco have filed a lawsuit in Nowata County asking for more than $1 million in court costs, accrued during their custody battle over 'Baby Veronica.'

Adoptive parents Matt and Melanie Capobianco have filed a lawsuit in Nowata County asking for more than $1 million in court costs, accrued during their custody battle over 'Baby Veronica.'

The lawsuit is against Veronica's biological father, Dusten Brown, and the Cherokee Nation, who helped him fight for custody.

Veronica is living in South Carolina with the Capobiancos.

Brown has dropped his legal custody fight, but is still hoping to work out a visitation agreement.
