A 13-year veteran of the Oklahoma City Fire Department stands accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl.

Cpl. Jason Lyle Wood is currently facing three felony complaints. Wood has worked as 911 dispatcher for the fire department for the last decade. He spent his first three years on the job fighting fires.

Wood was arrested Friday at the 911 dispatch center in downtown Oklahoma City. Garvin County investigators say they have a solid case against Wood.

"We do feel that the evidence we recovered will lead to possibly additional charges or corroborate the initial charges in this case," said Garvin County Sheriff Larry Rhodes.

Wood is facing complaints of rape, forcible sodomy and lewd molestation. Court papers allege Wood started having sex with a 13-year-old girl in late June. Deputies say the sex happened in Moore, Elmore City and Garvin County.

"It's just disturbing to find out of an alleged crime like this occurring in my county, especially when it crosses over multiple jurisdictions," Rhodes said.

Investigators say Wood went as far as to buying a cell phone for the girl, instructing her to text him every morning. He is also accused of requesting and receiving naked pictures of the girl.

A witness tells investigators that in late October of 2013, Wood accessed Oklahoma City Police Department files and knew he was being investigated. That's when the witness claims Wood said he was in love with the girl.

"We're going to take this very seriously," Oklahoma City Fire Chief Keith Bryant said. "We're going to cooperate with law enforcement and see where this goes."

Bryant has taken Wood off duty but says Wood will still be considered an employee pending an internal investigation.

"City policy dictates that we give the employee due process, but we will be meeting with [Wood] as soon as possible," said Bryant.

Wood's bond has been set at $75,000. Wood is expected to go before a Garvin County judge on Tuesday. Rhodes says his deputies are working to see if there are additional victims. If you have any information on this case or other potential cases against Wood, call the Garvin County Sheriff's Office at 405-238-7591.
