Federal agents dig deeper in an investigation into an alleged sex tourism scheme.

Oklahoma City Attorney Michael Billings and Ada bondsman Robert Pierce are accused of traveling out of the country to have sex with children. A federal search warrant shows the two suspected child sex tourists used Facebook to find underage girls in Peru then plan trips there to have sex with them.

In the weeks leading up to last month's arrest of Oklahoma City attorney Michael Billings and Ada bail bondsman Robert Pierce, investigators believe Pierce used Facebook to introduce himself and set up rendezvous with numerous underage girls at the El Dorado Plaza Hotel in Iquitos, Peru.

According to a federal affidavit, Pierce would "message girls that he likes their Facebook photo" and tell them "he would like to buy them a gift."

"With modern technology we can literally do so much more, but unfortunately those who are victimizing others are also using Facebook and technology to victimize people in desperate situations," Dr. Lori Basey, with No Boundaries International, a non-profit working to stop the exploitation of young girls.

Basey tells News 9 that Iquitos, Peru is a known child sex tourism destination. She says many of the young victims are forced to interact with perpetrators online in order to convince them to travel to the poverty ridden areas.

"There has to be a way for those kids to have access to the internet and Facebook," Basey said.

Investigators believe that's happening in this case, they found 11 Peruvian girls on Pierce's Facebook friends list. According to court records, a confidential informant recorded a conversation with Pierce and Billings as they described their "conquests".

In one instance, Billings described 16-year-old twins as "breathtaking" and said they "oozed sexuality". The affidavit also shows Billings and Pierce compare their arrival in Iquitos to that of the Beatles arriving at an airport with fans there to greet them.

Investigators also searched Billings' Law office on NW 42nd St. and Classen. An inventory of items seized has not been unsealed. Federal agents are not commenting because it is an ongoing investigation

Both Billings and Pierce maintain their innocence.
