Oklahoma County deputies arrested a suspect following a brief pursuit overnight.

Around midnight Wednesday an Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office deputy noticed a 2000 Chevy Silverado cross the center line several times on S.E. 59th Street near Santa Fe Avenue. The deputy attempted to stop the vehicle, but the suspect kept going.

During the pursuit the deputy noticed the suspect tossing several items out of the vehicle from the driver's side. The driver ran several stop signs and lights during the pursuit which eventually came to an end at S.W. 62nd and Walker Avenue.

Deputies arrested Will R. Sheppard, 40. Officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department and Valley Brook Police Department helped recovered the items tossed along the route of the pursuit, including four plastic baggies containing a crystal-like rock substance. Inside the vehicle, the deputy recovered several syringes, a digital scale and drug paraphernalia.

Sheppard faces several drug-related complaints.
