The teenager who recorded Sunday night's spark-filled landing at Wiley Post Airport happened to have her camera because of school photography assignment.

Sixteen-year-old Grace Manglicmont's video shows the left landing gear collapse when the KingAir twin turbo prop aircraft was landing Sunday around 7 p.m.

Her video shows sparks flying and you can hear the panic in Grace's father's voice as the plane come to a halt.

Grace's father is a flight instructor at the airport.

"I really didn't want to get anything traumatizing," said the Deer Creek High School sophomore about her video.

Manglicmont is a pilot herself and hopes to have her pilot's license when she turns 17. Two weeks ago, she completed her first solo flight.

Manglicmont said she was relieved when she saw the two people inside the plane get out uninjured.

"Honestly, I don't know how I'd feel if I witnessed a near death experience," Manglicmont said.
