Death Of Elderly Man In NE OKC Deemed Suspicious

Police called out to do a welfare check found the body of an elderly man at a residence at N. Lottie and N.E. 23rd Street.

A friend who couldn't reach 76-year-old Nash Mitchell became concerned and called 911 Sunday. Police went to Mitchell's home at 2204 N. Lottie, and found him dead inside the residence.

Mitchell's body had signs of trauma that were consistent with homicide, but police are not saying exactly how he died.
