The Jackson County district attorney has charged an Altus Air Force Base Airman after investigators found bomb-making materials in his trailer home.
Timothy Carey, 26, was arrested October 22. Witnesses told federal and state investigators that Carey had threatened to use explosives at Walmart to "tie up" law enforcement and other city resources.

When investigators searched Carey's trailer home and a storage unit, they found items used to make explosives.
Carey was charged Friday with one count of possessing a simulated bomb and other bomb-making materials with an intent to either intimidate or harm another person or to do damage to property. The felony charge carries a maximum punishment of 10 years in prison, and a fine of $10,000.
A judge set the bond for Carey at $50,000. Carey is scheduled to appear in court Thursday, October 31.
